Station 61 runs out of Simpson Pa, covers the communites of Richmondale, Simpson, Crystal Lake, and 1st District "west side of Carbondale". Out of our station we run 2 apparatus E614 99 Kme Predator, 1974 Hahn E613.Our Ems and Rescue provider is Cottage Hose Ambulance Co. Which we use for also fire dispatching R512 !  Other fire depts we work with are also Vandling Hose 42, Forest City 41, Waymart FD 75, and Stations 24,18,60,51,62,36 for Dive Rescue!  RECENTLY  DISPATCHED CALL LIST  AND SUMMARY

June 26 through the 28 2006 we ran 24 incidents  ranging from pumping details, assists to Wayne County, Fire Police Etc. Adresses will not be posted on the Web for the respect of the victims of the flood! Our hearts go out to everyone effected by this tragic event and praise to all Fire and EMS personel who assisted in the time of need!!!

June 30 2006 dispatched for Fire Police Rt 106 at the light for traffic control! E613 assited on the incident! Lt 61 was IC 5 men on the alarm! FP61,E613 units on the alarm!

July 1 2006 dispatched to man on roof 31 Midland St in Simpson man was brought down by 61 fire personal assisted by Cottage Fire and Rescue personel. Captain 61 was IC, we had 11 men on the alarm!! E614,R51,51Ems,Sq62 unitson alarm!

July 1 2006 dispatched to 858 Grealy St in Simpson for a 25x10  foot hole opened up on the road upon. Road was closed by C61 and E613,L51,R51,51EMS,E42 out of Wayne County assisted with the alarm!

July 19 2006 dispatched to MVA Rt 171 in Fell Twp. no injuries  car into a gaurdrail, minor damage. E614,R51,Ems51,E421 out of Vandling ! C61 was IC.

July 22 2006 2 Car MVA 700 Main St in simpson, 2 injuries transported by Cottage EMS, E614 picked up traffic control @ stabilized cars! E614,R51,Cottage Ems, Lt61 Was IC!

July 26 2006 Garage Fire In the Richmondale section of Fell Twp. Fire was out upon arrival C61 was IC, assisted by C42 Dispatched units Box 40,E614 Ems41

July 29 2006 Reported Working Garage Fire  153 Jefferson St in Simpson. E614 arrived on scene to find a Working Garage Fire. Fire Fighters from Station 61 promptly knocked down the blaze while L51 set up water supply ! Members of Cottage Hose Fire and Carbondale Fire assisted with overhaul and clean up! Units as follows E614,L51,R511,R51,R512,51-9,E42,E41,E24. C61 was IC assisted by Captian 61.

Aug 2 2006 reported car fire 1200 Block of Dundaff St in Fell Twp, fire was knock down upon arrival by a passerby with a fire Ex. E614 arrived to find small flames that were shorty there after put out! E614, E613 and R51, EMS51 responded to the scene L51 was on stand by along with R512 "Cottage Fire".

Wed July 5 2006 Fell Chater School drafting/pumping/fire-senerio training took place, we had 15 men at the training along with both E613, E614 !!!

Aug 5 2006  E614 was summond to the scene of a elderly male found unresponsive outside his residence. E614 leaving the Forest City Parade enroute back to Fire Headquarters was flaged down by a person and ask to assist with this incident. Fire crews from Fell Twp promptly started CPR a few minutes before the arrival of the Cottage Ambulance Crews. We would like to just reconize the 61 Fire Crew on the truck that day for showing the Charactor, Competency, Class we strive for with each passing day !!!!!

Sunday Aug 6 2006  Live Fire in house training, Nozzel, Pumping and some minor Wildland Training on 34 Cemetary St in Simpson, Special Thanks to Cottage Fire on assisting with this project the help was greatly needed!
